Technology plays a dual role in bioethics; it offers solutions to environmental problems but also presents new ethical dilemmas. For example, genetic modification and cloning techniques have the potential to either aid conservation efforts or threaten natural biodiversity by disrupting ecological balances. Bioethics, therefore, serves as a framework to evaluate the moral implications of using such technologies, ensuring they are deployed responsibly.
