Youve Likely Hear The Termelevator Pitch What Is An Elevator Pit
Craft this pitch as you are selling your services as a consultant in your own field of work, or the field you hope to work in. What is included in the pitch? Identify your goal, explain what you do, what is unique to you/your company, engage with a question, and wrap it up. For this assignment, the purpose is to develop your own personal pitch with all of the components. It should be completed in 30 spoken seconds, which means NO MORE than 250 words.
In addition to your 250 words, include what your Subject Line would be if this was sent in an email. This should be something that grabs their attention and gets them to open your email. After you have posted your own pitch, be sure to reply to two peers. In these replies, provide feedback on what you liked from their pitch and suggestions you may have to strengthen the pitch. Take these suggestions… because you will be giving our pitch in person during our residency introductions in a few weeks!
