In this course, you will research/write four papers dealing with a formal Human Resources (HR) formal sponsored Telecommuting work arrangement program. The purpose of these papers is to demonstrate your knowledge of key course concepts by applying them to a real-life situation.

Paper Requirements

Use Calibri font for your paper. The paper should be a minimum of five pages, covering each required topic in a thorough manner; the goal is to exceed the minimum when necessary for comprehensive coverage. Footnote all sources used, and compile a list of cited sources in MLA format at the end of your paper—do not include sources not cited in the text. This list does not count toward the minimum page length. Carefully edit your work for grammar, spelling, and logical flow. Write clearly structured paragraphs, each 2-4 sentences, with each paragraph focusing on a single central idea.

Assignment Details

Follow the specified format with each section marked by the corresponding bolded title:

  1. Purpose of this Paper: Explain what you will cover in this paper.
  2. Expected Benefits of a formal Telecommuting Program to the Company: Focus solely on the benefits from the company’s perspective, excluding ecological, traffic, or employee benefits.
  3. Issues for the Manager of a Telecommuting Worker: Discuss the significance of each issue.
  4. Detailed Real Life Experience of a Company: Research a real company's experience with implementing a formal telecommuting program, analyze the issues faced, actions taken, and provide a detailed review.
  5. Works Cited: List only sources cited within your paper, formatted in MLA style.
