As With All Written Assignments In This Course Please Be Sure That Yo
As with all written assignments in this course, please be sure that your paper is single-spaced, in 12-point font, and in Times or Times New Roman typeface. In a single line at the top of your assignment, include: Your Name, A#, CCA 3330-SEC, Assignment Name, Assignment Date. If you have any questions about how to format your paper, please contact the course manager.
Preparation Prior to watching Much Ado About Nothing, read a film review on the website of one of the following major national newspapers: Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, or Washington Post. You should not look for a review of the same film you are watching for class. Instead, look for a review of the same genre — either drama or romantic comedy. Your goal is to consider how films are professionally reviewed, which will inform your own review of the film. In the works cited section at the end of your paper, include the citation for the review you read.
Label each part of your paper with the bold headings provided below. Do not copy the prompt text into your paper outside these headings. Your responses should follow the order of the prompts, in paragraph format, with clear breaks. Responses must include specific detail and thoughtful analysis, and the length should be more than 1 page but no more than 2 pages.
Examine the rubric to understand grading criteria.

Part 2: Character Examination
Select ONE character: Don John OR Dogberry. Name the character. Compare his portrayal in the text with his portrayal in the film. Discuss similarities and differences, and analyze how the film added dimension to his character through props, clothing, and settings.
