Bibliography (DO NOT USE A CITATION GENERATOR) **Please note: This assignment could more accurately be called the "References list" assignment, because APA formatting calls its bibliography "References." However, it's been called the Bibliography assignment since I started teaching the class, so the name remains...but every semester, a handful of students still submit an assignment titled "Bibliography." Please do not do that. This assignment should be titled "References." Using the library databases, you will compile a page of at least 10 citations on the topic: Does Alcohol abuse lead to dementia (Alcohol abuse and dementia). This assignment requires strict adherence to APA formatting.
There are no exceptions to using APA formatting, and no re-submissions are permitted. Your references must be from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. News sources like “Time” or “Newsweek” and web sources like “Wikipedia” or “About.com” are not appropriate. Also, sites such as alz.org are not acceptable. Your search should include only articles reporting original research in the field of aging.
You may include one review article (an article that summarizes other research) in your bibliography. If you have questions about sources' appropriateness, consult your instructor or post in the Q&A discussion. Since the focus is on contemporary aging issues, references should be no more than 5-7 years old unless including a seminal work—an influential, highly-cited study that significantly advances the field. The bibliography must follow APA style.
Note that submissions using citation generators will not be eligible for passing. Additionally, you must identify at least three interesting concepts or issues related to aging discovered during your reference search.
Paper For Above instruction
Understanding the relationship between alcohol abuse and dementia is a vital area of research within the field of aging. Increasing evidence suggests that excessive alcohol consumption may contribute to cognitive decline and the development of dementia in older adults. This paper compiles a list of ten scholarly references adhering to APA format to explore this relationship, offering insights from original research articles primarily published within the last five to seven years. The discussion also highlights three compelling concepts related to aging that emerged from the literature search.

Three interesting concepts that emerged from this literature include: (1) the neuroprotective versus neurotoxic effects of alcohol depending on the amount and pattern of drinking; (2) the role of genetic and biological factors in modulating individual risk for alcohol-related cognitive decline; and (3) the importance of early intervention and lifestyle modifications to mitigate dementia risk associated with alcohol misuse.
