CLEANED: BUSI 240 Discussion Assignment Instructions The Discussions present an opportunity for you to evaluate yourself and your role within your organization

The Discussions provide an opportunity for self-assessment and reflection on your role within your organization. For each assigned module/week, you are to complete four self-assessments and select one to discuss in a discussion thread. Your discussion must be at least 250 words, include page references and specifics, and be submitted to the corresponding discussion thread. Proper English and grammar are required.

To complete the thread:

1. Complete four self-assessments and choose one for discussion.

2. Search the Jerry Falwell Library for a recent scholarly business article related to the self-assessment. Read and analyze this article.

3. Submit a thread containing the following sections, correctly formatted with headers:

  • Self-assessment: Briefly explain the selected self-assessment and your results, citing the textbook for support.
  • Discussion:

      i. Discuss how the article relates to the self-assessment and how you can utilize your self-assessment results to benefit an organization. Share experiences, opinions, and pose questions to engage peers.

ii. Biblical Integration: Include at least one scripture verse or narrative from the Bible to support your discussion. Explain how Scripture applies to your assessment results.

  • References: List all references in current APA format, including the complete URL for the article from the library.

Threads are due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the assigned week. For responses:

  • Read classmates’ threads each day.
  • Write at least 100 words reply to two classmates’ threads, answering questions or engaging further. Responses are due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the same week. Late replies will not be graded if submitted in subsequent weeks.

Refer to the grading rubric. Plagiarism will result in zero points. Acceptable sources include reputable business magazines and newspapers like The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and The Economist. Use the Jerry Falwell Library for research, avoiding non-credible sources such as Wikipedia, blogs, or inappropriate educational sites. If articles are behind paywalls, provide access to your classmates by copying and pasting into a document with proper APA references.
