You are a consultant and will assist a large corporation with improving their decision-making and management skills. You will select an organization that interests you and conduct in-depth research of the company. Based on your research and the concepts you have learned in this course, you will prepare a 5-7 page plan identifying areas of improvement or making suggestions for changes that will positively impact the organization. You will put your analytical and creative problem-solving skills to work in order to develop your suggestions and recommendations. Your overall goal is to help the organization you select increase their success, profitability, and market position by enabling managers, leaders, and employees to make better decisions.
This project will be compiled over the course of several weeks. For this week, you will: Select the organization you will use for this project. Conduct in-depth research on this organization. Write a 1-page introduction/background of the company (i.e., where/how it started, where it is headquartered, important leaders, products/services offered, and its current position in the marketplace). Your assignment should be 1-2 pages in length.
