Design and create a short animation clip using Blender to showcase any aspect of a school. The purpose of such an animation is to impress a potential student to further his or her studies in the school. You are allowed to create any type and style of animation as long as the content is related to communicating a positive aspect of the school. You are encouraged to perform visual research and be creative in producing the models, animations and storyline.

The project allows you to apply the principles of 3D modelling and animation, exercise technical expertise in developing digital media projects and gain an understanding of project management as applied to digital media design. Through this project, you will also come to appreciate the challenges that modellers and animators face. The project deliverable is a short and simple animation clip. The animation clip must meet the following requirements: (a) Total duration of animation clip is at least 10 seconds (b) Minimum of five (5) unique objects with appropriate materials and textures (c) Minimum of three (3) objects with animation; (d) Appropriate lightings and shadows (e) Appropriate usages of multiple cameras

My assignment requires brief description with some screenshots of the modelling/ animation steps. Progress Folder – containing 3 (work-in-progress) Blender files; Assets Folder – containing all the graphical assets used in the assignment; Final Blender file (.BLEND – with all assets packed within); Final Video Animation Format: Mpeg / MP4 / MOV; Resolution: 640 x 480 (Minimum); Fps: 24 (Minimum). The animations should be complete and refined.

The video clip should be interesting and intelligible to the viewer from start to finish, with the animations to bring out a particular message. Be creative but use effects appropriately. There is no need to use every feature in Blender. All models and animations have to be modelled and animated from scratch. You are not to import existing models from tutorials or other sources.
