Throughout this course, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the core principles that underpin nursing research and practice. Reflecting on the course objectives, I can confidently state that I have met most of the intended learning outcomes, which have significantly enhanced my professional competence in evidence-based nursing.

One of the key objectives was to critically analyze current practices to develop researchable problems. I have been able to identify gaps in clinical practice through literature reviews and clinical observations, enabling me to formulate specific, measurable research questions. For instance, I explored the issue of patient adherence to medication regimens, which is a recurring challenge in my clinical setting. By critically assessing existing research and practice standards, I was able to develop a research proposal aimed at improving medication adherence through patient education and support strategies.

Another essential outcome was the evaluation of research as a tool for decision-making to improve practice outcomes. I have learned to appraise research articles critically, assessing their validity, reliability, and applicability to my practice environment.
