Each Papr Needs To Be Between 800 1000 Words No More And No Lessyou
Each papr needs to be between 800-1,000 words—no more and no less. You must also use 12-point Times New Roman font. You need to save your file as either Microsoft Word format or Rich Text Format (.rtf) in order for the summary to be uploaded to Webcourses. It is your responsibility to ensure that your file is saved correctly and in the correct file format before the deadline. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you can successfully upload your article summary into the system prior to the deadline.
Do not wait until the last minute to upload your article summaries in case you experience technical problems. Your papr will automatically be submitted to Turnitin upon submission, to determine how another author’s work was used in the assignment. Make sure you take notes while reading the selected article in your own words. Do not copy and paste directly from the selected article because matches to other authors’ works of 30% or more will result in an automatic zero (0) for the assignment. At the top of your summary, you must include your name, the name of the article you selected, the name of the journal that the article was taken from, the names of the authors of the article, and your total word count.
An example is below: Student name, Name of article, Name of journal that the article was in, Authors' names, Word count.
Your summary should not include any direct quotations from the article you selected. Put everything in your own words and do not summarize the abstract section of the article. You should summarize a recent research journal article from one of the American Psychological Association (APA) journals listed in the table below. Please note that you will receive a zero if your summary is on a paper that is not from one of these journals and/or it is not clear from your title page whether you used one of these journals.

Paper For Above instruction
The assignment requires students to prepare a comprehensive scholarly summary of a recent research article published in an APA-listed journal. Specifically, the task involves selecting a peer-reviewed article, accurately summarizing its content in 800 to 1,000 words, and ensuring proper formatting and submission procedures are followed. This task underscores the importance of understanding academic research, adhering to academic integrity by paraphrasing in one's own words, and complying with submission guidelines.
First and foremost, the selected article must be from an APA journal as stipulated, emphasizing credible research within the psychological sciences. The article should demonstrate recent and relevant insights into the field, such as studies on emotional functioning, age-related cognitive changes, or psychological development. Students should meticulously read the article and take detailed notes, focusing on the core research questions, methodology, key findings, and implications. Importantly, all summaries must be paraphrased; direct quotations are forbidden, and a focus on original interpretation is essential.
Word count is strictly enforced. The summary must fall within the 800- to 1,000-word limit, requiring careful editing to avoid excess or deficiency. Proper formatting is also critical: the document should employ 12-point Times New Roman font and be saved as a .docx or .rtf file. Students bear the responsibility of verifying their file format before submission and ensuring they can successfully upload their work before the deadline.
In addition, academic integrity and originality are paramount. Submissions will be checked via Turnitin, so paraphrasing and originality are essential. The initial page of the submission should contain essential metadata: the student's name, article title, journal name, author(s), and total word count. This information facilitates proper identification and assessment.
Examples of the proper citation format include listing all author names, journal details, and the article title clearly. As in the sample provided, the inclusion of the article title, journal, authors’ names, and precise word count is mandatory. This not only serves as a citation but also ensures compliance with submission requirements.
The purpose of this exercise is to evaluate students' ability to critically read and synthesize scholarly articles, develop concise summaries, and adhere to academic standards. Accurate paraphrasing, proper formatting, timely submission, and avoiding plagiarism are central to success in this assignment. Students are advised not to delay uploading their summaries to prevent technical issues that could jeopardize their submission.
