Throughout my nursing education, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to meet the BSN Essentials across various courses, including Care Management II, Information Technology for Nursing, and Nursing Pharmacotherapeutics. Each course provided unique opportunities to develop core competencies that align with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) BSN Essentials, preparing me for safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing practice.
The course in Care Management II emphasized the importance of holistic, patient-centered care for diverse adult and elderly populations experiencing physiological and psychological illnesses. In clinical settings, I was able to apply essential skills such as interprofessional collaboration, advocacy, and quality improvement, corresponding to BSN Essentials II and VII.
