This course focuses on nursing care management of patients with chronic, complex physiological and psychological issues across diverse settings such as intensive care, emergency, long-term care, and community health. It directly aligns with BSN Essential II: Basic Organizational and Systems Leadership for Quality Care and Patient Safety, as I learned to effectively prioritize patient care needs and utilize available resources to improve outcomes. Developing leadership skills and understanding interprofessional team roles addressed Essential VIII: Professionalism and Professional Values, emphasizing accountability and ethical practice in high-stakes environments.
