Students must prepare a 5-page paper on their approved critical thinker, structured into five components: 1) LIFE (first page), 2) WORK (second page), 3) LEGACY (third page), 4) CONCLUSION (fourth page, including a statement on how biography, work, and legacy make this person a critical thinker with a word count), and 5) WORKS CITED (fifth page). The paper must include a title at the top of the first page with the critical thinker’s name. The assignment requires at least three relevant quotes (one for each of biography, work, and legacy) from reputable researched sources; website URLs alone are insufficient. The paper should adhere to MLA citation format with at least two researched sources listed in the Works Cited page. The entire paper should be double-spaced, using standard formatting (white paper, black ink, appropriate margins, spelling and grammar checked), and include proper paragraph structure. The due date is Tuesday, April 2nd, at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 12:30 pm, or 2:00 pm, with all pages stapled together and submitted both as a hard copy in class and uploaded into the D2L Assessments Dropbox. A cover page is not required. The paper should also include the full name, class time and section number, due date, and the name of the approved critical thinker at the top of the first page.
