Rising healthcare costs have become a national concern, affecting millions of Americans and the overall structure of the U.S. healthcare system. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation (2022), the U.S. healthcare expenditure is projected to reach $6.8 trillion by 2028, indicating an unsustainable trajectory that impacts both consumers and providers. The increase in prices not only affects patients who struggle with co-pays and deductibles but may also lead to higher operational costs for healthcare providers.
