In this reflection, I explore my experience with the speech delivery project, analyze the feedback received, and identify strategies for future improvement. My speech topic, which I selected based on its personal significance, allowed me to connect authentically with my audience. During the preparation phase, I aimed to implement an extemporaneous delivery style, relying on brief notes rather than memorization to maintain naturality and spontaneity. This approach aligns with the principles outlined in the textbook, emphasizing the importance of preparation and flexibility in effective communication (Beebe & Beebe, 2017).
