Reflection
This internship provided an excellent opportunity to apply the knowledge gained from my classes. For example, the lessons from my International Business course helped me understand different market entry strategies, which I applied directly when conducting research on potential markets in Asia. The cross-cultural communication skills learned in class enabled me to effectively liaise with international team members, ensuring clear and respectful communication despite cultural differences. My coursework in International Marketing helped me develop appropriate promotional materials tailored to cultural sensitivities, which increased the effectiveness of our outreach efforts. Additionally, understanding global economic factors, as discussed in my classes, allowed me to better interpret market data and advise on strategic decisions. Overall, this position has reinforced my academic learning with practical, real-world applications, preparing me for a future career in international business.
