Leadership Theory: Cultivating Critical Perspectives
Leadership Theory : Cultivating Critical Perspectives
This presentation should be 12-15 slides long in addition to a cover page and a reference page. Use bullets on most slides, but each slide should include a note section with at least 150 words. Cite your work, limit quotes, and ensure correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Quotes should be rare and properly cited, with excessive quotes leading to deductions. Use your own words to make the content accessible. The assignment requires examining Trait, Skills, Behavioral, Situational, and Path-goal leadership approaches/theories. Prepare a lesson presentation as if teaching a class, covering the basis of each approach or theory, how it differs from the others, and when it is best utilized. Consider strengths and weaknesses, and provide real-life examples for each, tailored to different roles like a construction plant manager, school principal, or nurse. Incorporate these examples into your lesson plan. The goal is for students to understand the five approaches and their practical applications, without copying textbook definitions. Each approach should be explained over about two to three pages. Include a title slide with your name, student number, paper title, course number, course name, and date. Start with an introductory slide outlining your agenda, and end with a reference page citing at least two outside sources besides the textbook and course articles. Use credible, author-based references, avoiding websites.
