Paper For Above instruction

The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate effective research strategies by utilizing the CINAHL database to locate a scholarly, peer-reviewed nursing article. The process involves accessing the library, applying search limits, selecting an appropriate article, and properly citing and summarizing it, as well as reflecting on how to incorporate its insights into future nursing practice.

First, the student must describe the specific steps taken to locate the article. This includes entering the library platform, accessing CINAHL Advanced Search, applying relevant filters such as peer-reviewed status, publication date within the last five years, and author credentials indicating nursing expertise. The student should detail the search terms used—such as “nursing leadership,” “collaboration in nursing,” or “mentoring in nursing”—and explain how the full text of the article was accessed after selecting the appropriate publication.

Next, the student must list the full names and credentials of the article's authors, ensuring to include degrees and certifications relevant to nursing (e.g., PhD, MSN, DNP), but not job titles or employer names. Following this, the student is required to produce a correct APA citation for the article, including the authors, year, article title, journal name, volume, issue, pages, and DOI or URL if applicable. This citation should follow standard APA formatting with appropriate italics and hanging indent.

Additionally, the student must include a quotation from the article consisting of 10-20 words, cited in proper APA style with authors’ names, publication year, and page number, enclosed in quotation marks. The quote should be directly from the selected article and not sourced from elsewhere.

In a concise paragraph of 80-110 words, the student summarizes the core contents and main points of the article. The summary should be clear, focused, and free of plagiarism, providing an overview of the article’s purpose, methodology, findings, and implications without including the article's title or author information.

Further, the student reflects on how the information from the article will be utilized in future practice, also within 80-110 words. This reflection must articulate specific ways the new knowledge will influence clinical decision-making, patient care strategies, leadership practices, or collaboration approaches, using first-person language, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Finally, the assignment should be completed by saving the document and submitting it through the designated course Dropbox, ensuring adherence to all guidelines, and including a references section with at least five credible nursing or health sciences sources formatted in APA style.
