Paper For Above instruction

This assignment involves conducting an in-depth research project on a selected company, culminating in a comprehensive academic paper that integrates theories and concepts related to organizational design and change. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate a deep understanding of organizational structures, culture, strategy, innovation, and change management principles, contextualized within a real-world business setting. The paper must be a cohesive essay that addresses specific research questions, presents original visual data, and reflects critical analysis connected to course theories.

Throughout the semester, you will choose a specific company from a provided list or spreadsheet—ensuring it is a new company not previously researched—and analyze various aspects of its organizational framework. Your goal is to synthesize course concepts with your research findings, illustrating your ability to critically evaluate how organizational structure and culture influence the company’s strategies and overall effectiveness.

The research paper requires extensive preparation, including data collection, analysis, and visual representation. You will create at least three original visuals—such as diagrams, charts, or models—to support your analysis, which should be included within the essay or as appendices with proper referencing. These visual elements must be your own creations, not copied from external sources.

The structure of the paper should include the following sections: a title page, table of contents, introduction, literature review (theoretical framework), analysis sections corresponding to the research questions, visual representations integrated into the discussion, a conclusion, and a list of references formatted in APA style. The entire paper must be a minimum of 5,000 words, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.

You will address all of the following research questions comprehensively within your paper:

  1. Provide a brief history of the company, highlighting major changes over time, including impacts of COVID-19 with specific examples.
  2. Identify the current CEO and describe their leadership approach, previous experience, and how their style influences the organization.
  3. Identify internal and external stakeholders based on organizational theory concepts.
  4. Create an organizational chart illustrating the company's hierarchical structure, detailing differentiation and bureaucracy levels, and discuss how these elements align with strategy.
  5. Describe the company’s culture, including origins, how it compares to competitors, and the internal and external forces shaping it, referencing relevant theories.
  6. Explain the company’s domain, core competencies, competitive advantages, disadvantages, and evaluate how its structure and culture support its strategic goals.
  7. Highlight the most innovative product, strategy, or technology employed by the company, discussing the drivers behind its development and the results achieved.
  8. Discuss whether you would invest in this company, providing justification based on your analysis.

This project requires integrating course concepts such as organizational structure, culture, strategy, innovation, and change management, supported by visuals and scholarly references. You must use at least eight credible sources beyond your textbook, including journal articles, industry reports, or reputable websites, all cited accurately in APA format. The paper will undergo a rigorous review process emphasizing critical thinking, original analysis, and depth of understanding.
