The tourism industry and the hospitality industry are closely related yet distinct sectors within the broader travel domain. The tourism industry encompasses all activities involved in travel, encompassing transportation, attractions, and services that cater to travelers. In contrast, the hospitality industry primarily focuses on services such as lodging, food, and entertainment provided to tourists and other guests. While tourism includes the entire journey and experience, hospitality specializes in the accommodation and service delivery aspects within this process.

Three tourism attraction types that interest me are natural attractions, cultural sites, and amusement parks. Natural attractions include scenic landscapes like national parks, cultural sites involve museums and historical landmarks, and amusement parks provide entertainment and thrill rides.

For natural attractions, I am interested in Yellowstone National Park in the United States, famous for its geysers and wilderness. A cultural site I find intriguing is the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, representing historical architecture and cultural significance. For amusement parks, Disney World in Florida is captivating for its entertainment offerings and family-friendly attractions.

People visit Yellowstone to enjoy its pristine wilderness, observe wildlife, and experience nature's serenity. Tourists travel to the Eiffel Tower to witness iconic architecture, experience French culture, and capture memorable photographs. Disney World attracts visitors seeking entertainment, family bonding, and a break from routine with its themed rides and attractions.

Within each destination, hospitality organizations significantly benefit from tourism. In Yellowstone, lodges and resorts like the Yellowstone Lodge see increased bookings driven by nature tourists. In Paris, hotels near the Eiffel Tower, such as the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, experience higher occupancy rates. Disney World’s hotel partners, like Disney's Contemporary Resort, also see increased demand due to visitor influx, showcasing how attractions directly influence local hospitality operations and economic activity.
