Initiating the interview process involved creating a welcoming environment that fostered open communication, ensuring that Tina felt valued and understood. During the conversation, I utilized active listening and empathetic responses to build trust, which is crucial for eliciting truthful and comprehensive information (Hamberger, 2020).
