P450 Presentation/Paper Presentation must be a minimum of 18 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes. Each individual student must present for a minimum of three-and-a-half minutes and a maximum of six minutes. The presentation must include the student’s name and student ID number. It must be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation, which should have at least 18 slides and no more than 30 slides. The PowerPoint must be submitted on Canvas and Livetext by 4:15 PM on November 27. Students will lose points if the presentation or PowerPoint is late or if the timing requirements are not met. Students must present on their assigned topic, and topics cannot be exchanged. Presentations are graded individually, despite the group work.

Effective oral communication involves clear organization of ideas, logical flow, confident delivery, and the use of voice, gestures, and posture to engage the audience. The presentation should be supplemented with supporting materials—quotations, references, charts, and analyses—to strengthen credibility. Audience engagement is encouraged through questions and feedback during the presentation.
Written communication must be clear, focused, and adhere to disciplinary conventions, with appropriate in-text citations and references. The slides should follow the “Six by Six” rule—no more than six lines per slide—and include at least 18 but no more than 30 slides. All sources must be credible, appropriately cited, and accompanied by brief statements justifying their relevance and credibility using APA format.
Information literacy is critical: students should effectively define their research scope, use strategic search methods, evaluate sources for relevance and authority, synthesize information clearly, and ethically share data with proper citations. Avoid Wikipedia; rely on scholarly, peer-reviewed, or reputable sources. An appendix with at least two references per student should be included, demonstrating thorough and ethical research.
