Please Note The Error That Was Corrected On The Project Outlinethe F

Please note the error that was corrected on the project outline. The following changes were made (please accept my apology for the confusion): The Connecting Information Gathered From Families To Developmental Domains sheet (pg. 20) that was listed as a task for Part I- tasks 3, 4, and 5, was replaced with the Developmental Indicator Summary Sheet (pg. 17). The Developmental Indicator Summary should be completed and submitted with the Cognitive, Language, and Social/Emotional observations.

Most students have already submitted the Developmental Indicator for the Cognitive Observation. However, the outline posted did not include this information for the next two observations—an oversight on the instructor's part. Therefore, students are instructed to revisit their submissions and complete the Developmental Indicator for the Cognitive (if not already done) and Language observations.

In Part II, students will need to complete the Connecting Information Gathered from Families to Developmental Domains sheet if they have not already done so. To accommodate this, submission attempts are being increased, allowing students to submit their work multiple times.

Additionally, the instructor recognizes that further guidance is needed regarding observation tasks. Support sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams on Monday at 12:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m., with the link posted in Module 11. These sessions are aimed at assisting students with their observation documentation, particularly in writing anecdotal notes from running records.

Submission deadlines for observations are extended as follows:

  • Cognitive Observation: due by Wednesday, October 28th at 11:59 p.m.
  • Language Observation: due by Friday, October 30th at 11:59 p.m.
  • Social/Emotional Observation: due by Sunday, November 1st at 11:59 p.m.

Once students receive grading feedback, they will have the opportunity to resubmit updated work as a new attempt. All documents must be resubmitted as new attempts to ensure clarity in grading—this allows the instructor to assess only the latest version. If students wish to request the removal of previous attempts from their Blackboard records, they should email the instructor specifying the name of the assignment and the attempt(s) to be deleted.

An updated version of the project outline has been attached, including minor formatting changes such as font adjustments and bolding for clarity.
