Project – YUC Intelligent System Interface Design Competition (Innovation and Creative System)
Working in groups of 5 people (maximum), search any topic from internet to stimulate your idea and creativity. You might identify the main problems that the user faced in their daily life or analyze the weaknesses of existing YUC-SIS and YUC E-learning systems. Then you will provide creative solution using innovative technology/system (upgrade the system functionality into Intelligent System or Business Intelligent System). To realize the designs, give added value to your system design. Each group should be able to present the idea of how the system works into graphic/visual (interface design).
Design your invention into Interface Design and using any solution models. Study and learn about “60 User Interface Design Tools A Web Designer Must Have” and other prototyping and mockup tools from the page. Illustrate your idea into interface design using the selected best tool for your Design Category and provide the explanation. Search from the Internet using keywords to view other example of process or models. Disseminate your idea and how your system works into a properly formatted report. Presentations will determine the winners ranking and will contribute a maximum of 35/50 marks. Show all workload distribution among your group members in the given table. Provide all references and websites visited and used in the report.
Paper For Above instruction
The YUC Intelligent System Interface Design Competition offers an opportunity for student groups to showcase innovative solutions to current educational challenges through creative interface design and intelligent system features. The core aim is to enhance existing systems or develop new functionalities that address daily user problems, leveraging AI and BI technologies.
In this project, groups are expected to identify specific problems within the YUC e-learning or student management framework, such as difficulty in accessing lectures, lack of engagement tools, or ineffective record-keeping. Based on this diagnosis, they should conceptualize an intelligent system that improves user experience, offers personalized learning paths, automates administrative tasks, and fosters better interaction among students and instructors.
To achieve this, students must conduct comprehensive literature reviews on innovative interface design tools and prototype their solutions with selected software, considering usability and aesthetic appeal. Effective visualization of the system's workflow through graphic or visual diagrams is crucial to communicate the idea convincingly. The proposed system might include features such as login with multiple options, viewing and editing personal data, video conversations, automated lecture recordings, summaries, mind maps, automated alerts, and interactive quiz questions. These functionalities can be powered by AI modules like neural networks, case-based reasoning, and intelligent agents.
The report should encompass major sections: introduction and problem statement, clear objectives, detailed system design including intelligent agent modules, AI techniques employed, tools used, advantages of the system, interface design prototypes for smartphone and PC, followed by conclusions and recommendations. The workload table must illustrate each group member's contribution, and all references must be properly formatted to validate the research and tools utilized.
Overall, this project emphasizes combining creativity with technology to craft an innovative intelligent system interface that addresses real user needs effectively and engagingly, demonstrating the potential of AI and BI in transforming academic support systems.
