Throughout my life, several key moments have acted as pivotal turning points, shaping not only my personal development but also influencing my approach to leadership. Among these, three particular "marker moments" stand out: returning to education, leading a community project, and overcoming significant personal adversity. Each of these moments has contributed uniquely to my growth, affecting me in both the short and long term, and continues to inform my leadership style today and into the future.

The first significant "marker moment" was returning to school after a hiatus. In my twenties, I decided to pursue higher education to enhance my career prospects and personal knowledge. Initially, this decision was driven by practical needs; however, the immediate effects included increased confidence and a renewed sense of purpose. In the short term, returning to school demanded discipline and time management, often requiring sacrifices such as reduced social engagements. The long-term impact has been profound: acquiring new skills, broadening my worldview, and cultivating resilience.
