Research-Based Written Project On Scholarly Literature
Research based written project on scholarly literature and review
This will be a research based written project (approximately 10-12 pages total) that will encompass scholarly literature on an approved topic. The project will take the student through the literature review process from beginning to end and allow the student to explore the variety of scholarly writings. The project must include a minimum of 12 scholarly sources from peer-reviewed journals. The project needs to include a title page, body (at least 8 pages) and a reference section listing all sources used.
The project should strictly follow APA guidelines and exhibit graduate level critical thinking and writing skills.
Paper For Above instruction
The process of conducting a comprehensive literature review requires meticulous planning, critical analysis, and synthesis of scholarly sources. This project aims to guide students through the entire procedure of gathering, evaluating, and organizing literature related to an approved research topic within a 10-12 page manuscript. Emphasizing academic rigor, the project stipulates the inclusion of at least 12 peer-reviewed journal articles, organized within a well-structured format that adheres to APA standards. Such a review not only reflects the current state of research but also identifies gaps and directions for future inquiry, demonstrating graduate-level critical thinking.
The initial phase involves selecting a relevant and scholarly topic aligned with the course objectives. Using keyword searches and citation tracking from seminal articles, students develop a pool of credible sources. Peer-reviewed journal articles are prioritized, ensuring that the literature base is current and authoritative. Employing strategic search techniques, including Boolean operators and journal-specific searches, participants gather a cohesive body of literature for review.
Structurally, the literature review begins with an introduction that contextualizes the topic, followed by the main body subdivided into thematic sections or chronological development, depending on the chosen approach. The paper should synthesize findings from various sources, highlighting points of consensus, controversy, and gaps in knowledge. Critical evaluation of sources enhances the depth of analysis, demonstrating the student's ability to engage with scholarly debates.
Incorporating APA guidelines, the manuscript must contain a title page, an abstract summarizing the review, appropriate in-text citations, and a reference list formatted correctly. The use of at least three levels of APA headings helps organize content logically. Multiple drafts and careful editing are essential to ensure clarity, coherence, and scholarly tone throughout.
Finalizing the review involves reflecting on the significance of the literature, discussing implications for research and practice, and identifying avenues for future investigation. The entire process fosters skills in scholarly communication, critical appraisal of sources, and academic writing at the graduate level.
