MEMO 5 Internal Memo Name Institution Memorandum To: All employees From: Management Date: March 17, 2018 World Hand Washing Day Activities As of February 14th 2018, the company has decided to join the world in celebrating the world hand washing day on the 15th October 2018. This will not only be a show of solidarity and community involvement but also be an opportunity for the company to market its brand of soap. Also note that every member that takes part in that day’s activities will have their participation included in their curriculum vitae as a boost. The months of December and January have been the worst for the company following the drastic drop in the sales during these months (Heupel, Thomas, and Sven Schmitz, 2015).

Constant attempts to provide promotional free packages to consumers have not exactly proved to be successful. It has led to more costs with even fewer returns. Reports from the sales department showed that out of four supermarkets, only two will sell our product. Whereas out of six shops only two sell our product (Cabannes, 2015). With respect to the above information, a hand washing activity has been set apart to mark this eventful day while tactfully marketing our company’s products.

The purpose of this memo is to bring to the attention of all employees, with the support of their departmental heads to regroup and help come up with relevant information that will be needed to create the company’s hand washing exercise budget (Ohemeng, 2016). This is to take place on Monday, the 19th of March 2018 at the company’s social hall. The same will be presented to the executives for approval by March 29th, 2018. All interested parties are encouraged to sign up for this exercise in due time. Let it also be noted that photos taken from the events of this day will also be used in publishing of the annual company magazine where every participant of this day’s activities will receive credit due to them.

It is my hope and belief that every member of our delightful company will wholeheartedly volunteer to take part in this activity to help get out company back on its feet and showcase our public welfare concern.
