York College is considering establishing a project that will incorporate its alumni. As a worker in the Alumni Association, it is important to maintain close ties and contact with the alumni of the college. The main purpose of establishing a connection with the aging alumni is to seek their support in donations and to encourage them to promote the college to others. An alumni project is effective where there are sufficient contacts and where the alumni are willing to cooperate. York College is currently struggling to find contacts of its alumni and to assess their income brackets.
An age bracket must be defined since the project targets older alumni. Additionally, statistics such as their gift giving history, job titles, income levels, and home locations need to be evaluated before enrolling them as prospective alumni participants. The aim of this research is to contact as many alumni as possible and review their information. The focus will be on older alumni, specifically those meeting the predetermined criteria. This targeted approach allows the college to tailor its strategies effectively.
Given that York College operates in the education industry, it expects most of its alumni to have specific job titles and income levels consistent with established career paths. The research will concentrate on those older alumni who meet the set criteria. The college aims to gain new entries each year; however, there is a need to evaluate whether certain assessments, such as income and location, are necessary for inclusion. Relying on older alumni for funding and support stems from the expectation that they are well-settled in their careers and potentially willing to contribute or promote the college further.
Ethical Considerations
Ethical considerations are crucial in this research, particularly regarding how alumni might react to the evaluations and assessments. Many older individuals prefer privacy and a reserved lifestyle. Objectives of the Research
