Select the basic values that will provide the foundation of your model and discuss the leadership behaviors that will result from those values. Be sure to select values from each of the following four levels: individual, interpersonal, organizational, and societal. Use the "Creating a Personal Model of Leadership" instructions and the “Rokeach Values Survey” to guide you. Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

This assignment uses a grading rubric. Developing a personal leadership model grounded in core values is essential for guiding effective and authentic leadership behaviors. This paper aims to articulate a hierarchy of values across four levels: individual, interpersonal, organizational, and societal, and to examine how these values shape leadership practices. Using the Rokeach Values Survey as a tool, I have identified my top values and reflected on their influence on my leadership approach.

At the individual level, I value self-awareness and integrity. Self-awareness enables me to understand my strengths, weaknesses, and emotional responses, which fosters authentic leadership and trustworthiness. Integrity, as a core value, underscores the importance of honesty and ethical behavior in all interactions, serving as the foundation for credibility and ethical decision-making. Finally, societal values such as social responsibility and sustainability shape my broader leadership perspective. Social responsibility compels me to consider the well-being of the community and environment when making decisions, promoting initiatives that benefit the larger society.
