The development of an effective restaurant website is crucial in today’s digital age, where potential customers often seek online information before visiting. My restaurant, "Seaside Bistro," aims to create an engaging and informative platform that highlights our culinary offerings, ambiance, and location. The purpose of my website is to introduce potential diners to our restaurant, share our menu and specials, and facilitate easy reservations or inquiries. Specifically, the website will serve as a visual and informational guide, enticing visitors to experience our unique seaside dining atmosphere.

Our goals include ensuring that visitors can find detailed location information via Google Maps integration, view up-to-date menus and specials, and contact us directly for reservations or questions. These goals aim to improve customer engagement and streamline communication, ultimately increasing foot traffic and reservations. Additionally, the website will showcase customer reviews and feedback to build trust and credibility among prospective diners.

The target audience for Seaside Bistro includes local food enthusiasts aged 25-45 who enjoy fine dining in scenic settings, as well as tourists visiting our area. For local patrons, the website will provide easy access to our location, hours, and reservation system, aligning with their expectation of quick and reliable information. Tourists, on the other hand, might visit the site to discover our menu offerings, view images of our seaside views, and get directions, aiming for a seamless planning experience before their visit.

For the website's visual appeal, I plan to use a calming, beach-inspired color scheme. The background of the pages will be a light sandy beige, reminiscent of a seaside setting, with dark teal accents for headings and navigation links. The main text will be in dark charcoal to ensure readability, with headings in navy blue for clear section differentiation. This color palette will evoke a relaxed, coastal atmosphere that aligns with the restaurant’s brand identity.

The content of the website will be structured into multiple pages. The Home Page will feature the restaurant logo, a welcoming heading, navigation menu, and a brief introduction inviting visitors to experience "Seaside Bistro." The About Us Page will include the restaurant's history, mission statement, and images of the building and staff. The Menu Page will showcase our culinary offerings with descriptions and images of popular dishes. The Contact Us Page will provide contact details, a reservation form, and a map with directions. The Chef Page will highlight our head chef’s biography, culinary philosophy, and photographs. The History Page will detail the development of the restaurant and its significance to the local community. The seventh page, selected as my personal addition, will feature upcoming events, seasonal specials, and customer testimonials, creating a comprehensive and engaging online presence for "Seaside Bistro."
