The module-by-module instructions for the term project are as follows:

Module 1

Review hospital disaster preparedness and response plans retrieved from the internet. Select and save 6-8 of the most applicable and comprehensive plans as references. Write approximately 750 words explaining how concepts from the Module 1 textbook chapters (e.g., complex systems thinking, organization theory and behavior, leadership theories and roles) inform the development and execution of Saint Leo University Hospital’s Disaster Preparedness and Response Plan for the selected emergency. Cite at least three references beyond the textbook.

Module 2

Write approximately 750 words explaining how concepts from the Module 2 textbook chapters (e.g., organization design and coordination, motivation) inform the plan. Cite at least three references beyond the textbook.

Module 3

Write approximately 750 words discussing how concepts from Module 3 (e.g., work teams, communication) influence the plan. Cite at least three references beyond the textbook. Begin integrating Modules 1-3 components into a well-structured document, submit for feedback.

Module 4

Write approximately 750 words explaining how concepts from Module 4 (e.g., power, politics, conflict management) inform the plan. Continue integration of Modules 1-4 components.

Module 5

Write approximately 750 words on how concepts from Module 5 (e.g., organizational complexity, learning, quality improvement) inform the plan. Continue integration of Modules 1-5.

Module 6
