Participating in this course has been an enlightening experience, and the reflective activity prompts an opportunity to evaluate both the content covered and personal growth. While the curriculum covered foundational topics effectively, I found myself curious about additional areas such as the intersection of technology and ethics, which could deepen understanding of responsible innovation in the digital age. Including more case studies on ethical dilemmas faced by corporations or governments would have enriched the learning experience.

The readings that resonated most with me were those discussing societal impacts of technological advancements. Specifically, I found the article on data privacy issues to be particularly compelling, as it highlighted both the opportunities and challenges posed by big data. The analysis of privacy breaches and the subsequent calls for regulation prompted me to think critically about the importance of ethical standards in technological development and the role of policymakers.

This course has significantly altered my perspective on the importance of ethical considerations in my field. I now appreciate how technological solutions must be evaluated not only for their functionality but also for their societal implications. Moving forward, I am more conscious of the ethical responsibilities that come with innovation, and I intend to apply this awareness in my future projects and professional decisions.
