Currently, I would rate my proficiency with technology skills as a 6 out of 10. I am comfortable using common applications like word processors, spreadsheets, and basic internet functions. However, I recognize that there is much more to learn, especially in specialized areas like coding, data analysis, and digital design. Developing my technology skills further is essential for my academic success, as it will help me complete assignments more efficiently and effectively. Professionally, improving these skills can open doors to new opportunities and enhance my employability. At home, advancing my technological abilities can help me manage personal projects and stay connected with family and friends more effectively. I plan to dedicate consistent time to practicing new software and exploring emerging technologies to stay current and competitive in my field. Creating a structured learning plan will help me track my progress and set achievable milestones.

My goals for improving my technology skills throughout this course and beyond include mastering advanced Excel functions, understanding basic programming languages such as Python, and enhancing my digital communication abilities. First, I aim to learn how to use pivot tables and formulas efficiently in Excel to analyze data more accurately and quickly. Second, I want to gain foundational knowledge in programming, which can support my endeavors in automation and data science. Third, I will work on improving my online presentation and collaboration skills by becoming proficient with tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams. These goals will enable me to handle complex projects, communicate more effectively, and adapt to technological changes in various settings. To achieve these objectives, I plan to participate actively in class tutorials, take online courses, and practice regularly. By setting these goals, I am committed to continual growth that will benefit both my academic pursuits and my professional career.
