Three One-Page Biology Lab Reports With Specific Structure
Three One-Page Biology Lab Reports with Specific Structure and Sources
I have 3 individual one-page lab reports for a biology class, each cannot exceed one page. The reports can cover any aspect of biology. Each report should follow the standard research article format, which includes five sections: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. The sections may contain subsections if necessary.
The article used as a basis for summarization must be at least 9 pages in length. Only peer-reviewed journal articles are acceptable sources. Suitable journals include PLOS ONE, Biological Bulletin, Marine Biology, American Naturalist, Plant Physiology, Auk, Cell, and Journal of Experimental Biology. Magazines or popular science publications such as National Geographic, Discover, Scientific American, Popular Science, Science News, or any BBC publications are not permitted as sources.
The report format requires double spacing (except for the article citation), 12-point font, 1-inch margins, and should be 1 to 2 pages long in .doc, .docx, or .odt format. No title page is necessary.
At the top of each report, include the bibliographic citation of the article under review, formatted as: Author(s). Year. Title. Journal Volume: page numbers. Double space after the citation. Then, write your name, double space, and proceed with your review.
The three reports should be concise summaries that clearly present the research's key elements, focusing on understanding and communicating the scientific process and findings effectively within the page limit.
