My Last Weekend: A Detailed Account
During the past weekend, I had a relaxing and enjoyable time. On Friday, I woke up early and went to 友達の家 (tomodachi no ie) for a study session. 午後は一緒に映画を見ました。(Gogo wa issho ni eiga o mimashita.) We watched a Japanese movie called「君の名は」(Kimi no Na wa). The movie was very emotional and beautiful, and I learned many new vocabulary words related to feelings and scenery. After the movie, we went out for evening dinner at a local レストラン (resutoran). I ordered ラーメン (ramen), which was very delicious. That day, I felt happy because I could practice my Japanese speaking skills with my friends.
On Saturday, I decided to visit a nearby 山 (yama) with my family. We started our trip early in the morning and climbed up the mountain. 途中で美しい景色が見えました。(Tochu de utsukushii keishiki ga miemashita.) The view from the top was breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the city below. During the ascent, we took many photos to remember the day. In the afternoon, we rested at a 小さなカフェ (chiisana kafe) near the mountain, where I drank hot ココア (kokoa). We spent the whole day enjoying nature and discussing our plans for the future. Returning home, we were exhausted but satisfied with our adventure.
On Sunday, I stayed at home and spent time relaxing. I finished reading a new 日本語の本 (nihongo no hon) that I had bought recently. The book was about 日本の文化 (nihon no bunka) and history. Later in the afternoon, I practiced writing Japanese characters and reviewing vocabulary. My parents also prepared a traditional Japanese dinner, including 寿司 (sushi) and 味噌汁 (miso shiru). We enjoyed the meal together and watched a Japanese drama on TV. Overall, Sunday was a peaceful day that helped me relax and prepare for the upcoming week.
