This paper explores the most compelling motivation theories, identifies two emerging educational technologies to implement in the near future, and discusses key curriculum considerations necessary for tailoring instruction to individual student needs.

Research indicates that students motivated by intrinsic factors (such as interest and personal relevance) tend to demonstrate higher engagement and better learning outcomes (Deci & Ryan, 2000). For instance, a study by Ryan and Deci (2017) highlights that fostering autonomy-supportive environments enhances intrinsic motivation, leading to increased persistence and academic success. Both technologies resonate with my goal to foster active engagement and personalized learning environments.

When planning to tailor learning for individual students, curriculum considerations such as flexible content delivery and differentiated assessment strategies are paramount.
