FIN 620 – PowerPoint Presentation Rubric Guidelines: One PowerPoint presentation is required. If a group submission, it should be submitted by the group leader; for individual assignments, each student submits one file. Additional points may be awarded for supplementary presentation methods such as videos or audio enhancements. The presentation must consist of at least ten slides, with appropriate organization, content, and visuals. The slides should contain concise bullet points with parallel grammatical structure, limited to short, specific items, and include visuals when appropriate. Text should be limited on each slide—headings no more than four words; bullet points no more than seven words per line. Titles and bullet points should capitalize key words or first words. Consistent font usage and effective color contrast are required. The presentation should clearly communicate concepts, include comprehensive content such as summaries, assumptions, alternatives, recommendations, and “what-if” analysis, and demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving. The organization should logically lead from introduction through build-up to conclusion, with one major idea per slide. The presentation must be tailored appropriately for the target audience, with logical flow and a cohesive story. It is encouraged to incorporate additional multimedia elements to enhance engagement.
