Record management is a systematic approach to the creation, maintenance, use, and disposition of records to support organizational functions, legal requirements, and historical preservation. Proper record management ensures that vital information is easily accessible, securely stored, and retained in accordance with applicable policies and statutes (Thompson, 2019).
