My personal statement expresses my aspiration to pursue a Master's degree in Accounting, driven by a lifelong interest in mathematics and business. My journey began when I enrolled at the University of San Diego in 2016, where I actively participated in the accounting community, engaging in weekly events and forming a strong attachment to the School of Business. Staying in San Diego is vital to me, as I have developed a sense of belonging and enjoy collaborating with peers, assisting students with accounting topics, and becoming involved in the university’s academic and extracurricular activities.
My work experience includes both paid internships and volunteer roles. Notably, I volunteered with Feeding America San Diego in 2012, where I checked food quality and maintained storage facilities, reinforcing my commitment to community service.
