My primary motivation for applying for a commission is my unwavering dedication to service and leadership within the Navy’s Human Resource community. I aspire to influence both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation among sailors, fostering a resilient and motivated workforce that aligns with the Navy’s mission and values. Achieving this goal will enable me to contribute meaningfully to the development and well-being of those I serve, while advancing my professional career in a meaningful and impactful way.

My personal and professional goals revolve around cultivating leadership skills, expanding my expertise in human resource management, and making a tangible difference in the lives of sailors. I am committed to continuous growth, both as a leader and as a resourceful professional who can address the complexities of personnel management in a dynamic military environment. Attaining the rank of Naval Officer aligns with my desire to serve at a higher capacity, influence policy, and mentor the next generation of sailors to uphold the Navy’s core values of honor, courage, and commitment.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong personal characteristics that will contribute to my success in the program. My resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to excellence have been evident in my ascent through the ranks—being promoted meritoriously to Third, Second, and First Class Petty Officer at different commands.
