At the end of each week you will submit words of reflection on the issues presented and readings. I want to hear your reactions to the material and how they can be applied/seen in your life and workplace. Your entries will be submitted each week through the Weekly Reflection Journal link available in a weekly module via Blackboard. These journals can be written in an informal, journalistic, reflective and personal style.

Reflective Weekly Module on Diversity and Personal Application
Over the past week, I engaged with materials focused on diversity, with Chapter 4 PowerPoint presentation being central to my understanding. The core of my reflection centers on how diversity influences both personal growth and professional environments. My initial reaction to the material was a sense of awareness about the subtle ways diversity manifests in everyday life and the workplace. Recognizing biases, stereotypes, and privilege became prominent themes that resonated with my own experiences.
Understanding diversity goes beyond mere acknowledgment; it involves actively embracing differences and fostering inclusivity. The presentation emphasized that diversity encompasses various aspects such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and ability, among others. This broader perspective invites reflection on how my attitudes and behaviors can either reinforce or challenge existing biases.
