I request a grade point average waiver. Grade Point Average (GPA) criteria listed in the PSDM states the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.0; AFPC calculated me at a 2.93. I have been taking college classes since high school. While taking college classes in high school I was not focused on my upper level work, and now it is hindering my GPA. I enlisted in the AF, and enrolled in college to attempt to improve my GPA.
The beginning of my career; I was young and made some not-so-smart decisions and deterred me from my college coursework, which led to my GPA decreasing. Being in a career for over nine years while continuing my education has taught me: time management, multitasking when needed, and excellent study habits. I am very well capable of making As and Bs and maintaining a splendid GPA. My science/math GPA is 3.64, I have been on the Dean’s and Principal’s List four consecutive quarters.
