In terms of summative evaluation, I consider the overall effectiveness of services in achieving set goals, such as improved family functioning, school performance, and social connectedness. Data collected through client surveys, case progress reports, and follow-up assessments allow the agency to determine the overall impact of their programs on Hispanic families. This comprehensive analysis helps identify successful strategies and areas requiring further development, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
In conclusion, the integration of research findings into practice through formative and summative evaluation enhances service quality for Hispanic children and families. Recognizing existing research gaps—such as the need for long-term studies and understanding the influence of acculturation—is essential for developing more effective, equitable interventions.
