One of the changes was the sexual revolution whereby the subject of sex is public and not a thing of shame as it was before. The change of perception on women and thus the rise of women into power has also been one of the major changes in societal behavior. All these have led to growth and development of businesses to serve the needs of these changes.
For examples the development of gay bars has come up due to the slow societal acceptance of homosexual behavior.
