Throughout the course COM201, students develop various speaking skills through different types of speeches, including informative, persuasive, and special occasion speeches. Reflecting on these experiences, I believe my most effective speech was my persuasive speech advocating for environmental conservation. This speech resonated with me on a personal level as I am passionate about environmental issues and committed to promoting sustainable practices.

The effectiveness of my persuasive speech was evident in the positive feedback I received from both my peers and instructor, who appreciated the clarity of my arguments, the logical flow of ideas, and the compelling delivery. I used credible sources to support my claims, which enhanced my speech's authority and persuasiveness (Lucas, 2015).
