In this paper, I will discuss the laws I favor and those I oppose, and I will explore the law that piqued my curiosity the most.

Among the various laws enacted in 2020, one that I particularly support is the law aimed at expanding healthcare access. This legislation extended health coverage options for underserved populations, aligning with the societal value of equitable healthcare. The importance of healthcare access is well-documented; it improves quality of life, reduces long-term medical costs, and promotes overall public health (Becker & Herring, 2019).
