Proper needs analysis helps in identifying priority areas, allocating resources efficiently, and justifying the project's relevance and impact within the organizational context.

The purpose of your capstone project is to address a specific organizational challenge or opportunity through research, analysis, and strategic recommendations. Clearly defining the scope and objectives of your project will guide the needs assessment process, ensuring that the findings are relevant and actionable. A well-scoped project focuses on a particular department, process, or problem, providing targeted solutions that align with organizational goals.

The needs analysis tool or template selected should be appropriate for the organization's structure, the nature of the problem, and available data. Thirdly, outdated technology infrastructure and processes contribute to delays and increased operational costs.
