Reflecting on a challenging experience I faced, I recognize that I handled the situation well by focusing on the permanence of positive outcomes, reminding myself that hardships are temporary. I acknowledged my personal strength in managing stress and sought support when needed, which reinforced my resilience. However, I would have approached the problem with more intentional reframing of negative thoughts to prevent dwelling on setbacks, thus maintaining a more optimistic outlook.

One of the most resonant skills from this module was the understanding of personalization—being mindful not to attribute external difficulties solely to oneself—and how it mitigates unnecessary self-blame during tough times. Developing awareness of the pervasiveness of challenges, recognizing that adversity often affects specific aspects rather than every part of life, has helped me compartmentalize problems and avoid overwhelming feelings.
