Each paper you select to write about should be one of the journal papers that are being read for the course. Once you have chosen and carefully read an article, write a 2-page paper (double-spaced, with one-inch margins, 12 point Times New Roman font) addressing specific questions about the experiment(s). The paper should be two full pages in length, with a third page if necessary.

The first page should focus on summarizing the article, demonstrating full understanding of its content, including the purpose of the research, background research, hypotheses, research methods (participants, materials, procedures for two important studies), types of variables, main results, and how these support and extend existing literature.

The second page should contain your personal reaction or response, including how the research relates to course topics or everyday life, critiques of the study design, potential improvements, ethical issues addressed by the researchers, and an experimental question inspired by the article. You should go beyond what is explicitly discussed in the article.

Credit is awarded based on the quality of content and writing. It is important to answer all questions thoroughly and thoughtfully.
